Join the Delaware Association for Environmental Education for an evening of socializing and an exclusive ‘behind the scenes’ tour of the Delaware Museum of Natural History (DMNH). View samples of the Museum’s research collections of more than 112,000 bird specimens and 220,000 lots of mollusks, among other specimens. These collections are worldwide in scope, but also have a large number of specimens from Delmarva.
DMNH is ranked in the top fifteen in the United States for their collections of mollusks and birds, with the second largest collection of birds’ eggs in North America. Stick around after the tour for a casual reception on the DMNH patio and to meet & greet with other DAEE members. The tour is scheduled for September 5, 2013, beginning at 4:30 pm, with the reception immediataly following. This event is free for DAEE members but pre-registration is required.

Current DAEE members are those who attended the Annual Conference on March 2, 2013 at the Ashland Nature Center.
