National Wildlife Federation’s (NWF) Trees for Wildlife program is an educational and community service program dedicated to teaching children and adults about the important role of trees for both wildlife and our communities. You will receive free trees, a planting guide and a resource guide, along with guidance from NWF staff to assist in planning your tree planting event or community tree giveaway event. You can either plant trees, give trees away to your constituents or a combination of the two.
For more information, including guidelines and an application, visit www.nwf.org/treebank today. Time is limited. All applications must be received by September 21st for Fall consideration. (You can also apply for Spring 2014 as well.)
